We created this special bundle to celebrate one of our favourite bands on the label, German experimentalists [ B O L T ]. In their career, they have shown an uncompromising dedication to experimentation, creating hauntingly blissful soundscapes blending doom metal and post-rock with noise and drone. Over their illustrious career, [ B O L T ] have also collaborated with a vast array of other audio-visual artists (i.e., dancer and performer Harald Schulte, electronic music specialist Aidan Baker) to create unique compositions, blowing us all away time and time again.

Self-describing themselves as "Black Drone Metal" and

Emerging out of oppressive silence and ending up in ecstatic noise and drone, [ B O L T ] create waving sounds and crushing riffs. [ B O L T ] takes you on a ride across a pitch black meandering river of drones, doomed out riffs and haunting soundscapes. [ B O L T ] plays a musical style that takes black, drone and doom metal and mixes them together to create a sound of their own: A set in between the genres of instrumental drone, doom, postrock, ambient and metal.

[ B O L T ] push boundaries and constantly re-invent themselves so that each album is a unique journey, but also a precious tesserae in the vast mosaic the band has been assembling since 2011. 

To celebrate [ B O L T ]'s legacy, we put together a bundle of all their records released on our label, to give you the full picture of their bundles talent, and guide you through the discovery of their (sonic) world, which can may seem dark and dangerous, but is in fact, joyous and hopeful.
